From Rochester Jct. Hwy 14 & Hwy 52, take Hwy 14 West approximately 21 miles, take
Cty Rd #5 North 1.7 miles

Johnson Wildlife Management Area – Approx. 220 Acres:
From Rochester Jct. Hwy 14 & Hwy 52, take Hwy 14 West 14 miles to Cty Rd 9, take
Cty Rd 9 2 miles, then East ½ mile

Bud Jensen Wildlife Management Area – Approx. 102 Acres:
From Rochester Jct. Hwy 14 & Hwy 52, take Hwy 14 West 14 miles to Cty Rd 9, take
Cty Rd 9 South 5 miles to Cty Rd 6, take Cty Rd 6 West 1 mile, take Township Rd
South ½ mile

Chosen Valley Wildlife Management Area – Approx. 193 Acres:
From Mayo High School in Rochester, take Cty Rd 1 South 17 miles, take Cty Rd 2 East
4 miles

Tri Co-Op Wildlife Management Area – Approx. 45 Acres:
From Rochester Jct. Hwy 14 & Hwy 52, take Hwy 14 West 5.3 miles to Cty Rd 3, take
Cty Rd 3 South 7 miles to Cty Rd 17, take Cty Rd 17 West 2.6 miles, or take Cty Rd
15 South to Cty Rd 6, then East to Land

Marshall Wildlife Management Area – Approx. 60 Acres:
From Hwy 63 South to Hwy 30 West, at Suess Wildlife Area turn to the South, go 1
mile then turn left for ½ mile

Spring Valley Wildlife Management Area – Approx. 80 Acres:
From Spring Valley Jct. Hwy 16 and Cty Rd 8, take Cty Rd 8 North 3 miles, then East
½ mile

John Murtaugh Wildlife Management Area – Approx. 75 Acres:
From the City of Goodhue, go North on St Rd 58 approximately 6 miles then turn right

William Pease Wildlife Management Area – Approx. 65 Acres:
From Chatfield take Cty Rd 5 West 3 miles, then go right on Cty Rd 102 for ¾ miles

Myrhe Wildlife Area – Approx. 43 Acres:
From Grand Meadow, take Hwy 16 East 2 miles

South Branch Zumbro Wildlife Management Area – Approx. 30 Acres:
From Rock Dell, take Cty Rd 26 West 1 1/8th miles

Ramsey Mill Pond Wildlife Area – Approx. 74 Acres:
North of Austin on Cty Rd 61 next to Ramsey Mill Pond

 

Barnes Property Wildlife Management Area  – Approx. 43 Acres:
From Mayo High School in Rochester, take Cty Rd 1 South 17 miles, take Cty Rd 2 East
4 miles

Madden Property Wildlife Management Area (Connected to the Johnson WMA above)  – Approx. 80 Acres:  (Purchased in 2005)
From Rochester Jct. Hwy 14 & Hwy 52, take hwy 14 West 14 miles to Cty Rd 9, take
Cty Rd 9 2 miles, then East ½ mile

Nosak Property Wildlife Management Area  – Approx. 143 Acres: (Purchased in 2007)
From Rochester Jct. Hwy 63 south, 4mi south of Spring Valley, east on 44 for one mile, then south ¾ m on township rd

 

This brings our inception to date land purchases to over 1500 acres which are all open to the public for hunting, trapping, hiking, and observing nature.
